Our guesthouse is surrounded by meadows and forests, yet it is only about a 10-minute walk from the centre of Kremnica.

The town of Kremnica

Kremnica is an important mining and minting town whose significance dates back to the Middle Ages. It is often called “golden” – ducats minted here once supported the thrones of many rulers. History is around every corner.

Kremnica used to be a multinational town – in 1910 a third of its inhabitants declared German, a third Slovak and a third Hungarian nationality. Today about 5,600 people live here.
